John Haseltine - Lead Vocals and Harmonica

Singing?...don't talk to me about singing. I've sung with Eric Clapton, Steve Marriott, Gary Brooker, Suzi Quatro, Jim Diamond...more names than I can remember. Been on the TV and the radio, got the t-shirt, wrote the book. From The Bollards to The All Crucial British Soul Band in the early '80's...to The Business in the '90's. Singing...30 years...man and boy...hardest game in the world. Singing?...don't talk to me about singing!!

John Rowley - Guitar, Vocals and Harmonica

I grew up listening to an interesting range of music to say the least. My Mum was a Grade 8 piano player so I heard a lot of Chopin, Grieg, Mendelssohn and Debussy with the odd Shostakovich and Kachaturian thrown in for a laugh. She was also a very good ragtime and boogie-woogie player, so I was also listening to Winifred Atwell and Jelly Roll Morton.

Then I discovered Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, UFO and a lot of Prog Rock:- Yes, Camel, Gong etc, so you can probably see where the combination of all this music is leading...that's right...I should sound like a top classical pianist combined with a seriously brilliant rock guitarist. Strangely, it sounds more like George Formby crossed with Tiny Tim. Never mind...God bless us every one.

Sean McNulty - Bass and Vocals

My musical 'spark' was first ignited by seeing a band playing outdoors at the local pub one Sunday lunchtime - I guess I was about 11 years old. I joined my first band while I was at school, playing drums and then switched to bass when the original bassist left - it looked a lot more fun to be able to move around - how right I was!!!

I first met Mr Haseltine in 1985 in the band Dutch Courage and shortly afterwards my journey in The Business began. I was influenced by AWB, Earth Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Thin Lizzy, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band and The Who. Favourite bass players; McCartney, Jaco Pastorious, Phil Lynott, John Entwistle, Mark King and Pino Palladino. Favourite colour: Guinness!

Favourite Drummers: Steve Ferrone, Stewart Copeland, Jeff Porcaro, Roger Jacobs, Keith ' Sack the Juggler ' Gavin. Favourite Band quip: Favourite colour ' The gig's in Jeopardy - I'll have to follow someone ' !

Rufus Ruffell - Guitar and Vocals
